Kids Fun Run

Tri for a CURE - Kids Fun Run
Boys and Girls ages 4 – 12
10am

On Saturday August 14th, we will hold a Tri for a CURE Kids Fun Run! The run will take place at Southern Maine Community College on the athletic fields. The Fun Run will kick off at 10 am during the Tri for a CURE packet pick-up and Expo.

Registration will be available April 1st and entries will be limited to the first 200 children. Registration will be $15.00 per child. If space is available, we will also register children the day of the race from 8:45 am to 9:30 am. Age Groups and course description will be as follows:

• Ages 4 – 6 approx. 100 yard dash
• Ages 7 – 9 approx. 1/2 mile on campus course
• Ages 10 -12 approx. 1 mile on campus course

This race will not be timed!

All children will receive a t-shirt and an award at the finish line. An awards ceremony will follow the Aqua/Run at approximately 11:45 am. Awards will be given to the top three boys and girls in the 7 – 12 age groups.

FUNDRAISING – We encourage children to fundraise for this event. All children who raise $25.00 will win a special prize. There will be a special award for the top fundraiser!!! Fundraising totals will be calculated as of 9:30 am. NO PLEDGES ARE ALLOWED IN FUNDRAISING TOTALS.

A pledge sheet can be downloaded here for fundraising. Please bring donations with you on race day or prior to race day you can bring donations to the Maine Cancer Foundation office at 970 Baxter Boulevard – 2nd floor, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Parents are required to sign the release before their child can race.
