Tri for a Cure is offering several training opportunities leading up to race day that you will not want to miss. We have partnered with some of our sponsors to give you the best experience possible from the first day of training to crossing the finish line on race day. Most clinics are sold out. Race Day Prep Clinic is still open, click here to register.

This year Tri for a Cure introduced the 1st Annual all-women’s Twilight 5K that took place on Thursday, June 3. Congratulations to Karen Cooper, Tanya Grigsby and Patricia Aceto. Each of these women raised over $2000 and earned a spot in the 2010 Tri for a CURE!

Each year, it takes the efforts of 300 + volunteers to make Tri for a Cure a spectacular event. Thinking about Tri for a Cure for 2011 and just want to see what it’s all about?? Looking for an exciting and uplifting outdoor weekend?? Want to have fun while earning community service?? Please consider volunteering at Tri for a Cure. We have hundreds of exciting positions from wetsuit stripping to handing out medals at the finish line!! Registration to volunteer for Tri for a CURE is now open, click here to register.

At Tri for a Cure, we value and appreciate the family dynamics!! This year, we will have two events for the kids!! The Kids Fun Run, for kids 4-12, will take place at the finish line fields. Brand new this year, the Youth Aqua/Run, for kids 10-15, will include a swim at the Tri for a Cure swim location and then they will transition to a run along the Willard Beach Trail to the Tri for a Cure finish line. We promise fun and prizes for all!!

Don’t forget the annual Kids Poster Contest where kids get to use their creativity to show support for their favorite athlete. Registration for the Kids Fun Run and Youth Aqua Run is now open. Click here for information on the Kids Fun Run, click here for information on the Youth/Aqua Run.
